Christmas Break

We made a Totoro-snowman, here he is just a few minutes before he is demolished by the children in our street:
We also partially made the snowman on the left, but the same boys had already taken his head when I took this photograph... It looked like a monkey/red panda/penguin. A very interesting combination...

I love SNOW!

I felt bad for The Barber, because we never got round to celebrating his birthday, so I made him this pie:
It was a very good Monchou-pie!

Oh No!

Even though most of our boxes are already unpacked, we haven't found our scanner yet. Which makes uploading pictures really hard. Which is why I'm typing this, instead of making a comic about it.
Having settled in somewhat now, I have taken over our tiny little workroom (The Barber put all of his stuff, plus our old dinner table in the room so he could have a place to draw. As soon as he was finished, I sat down, and have so far refused to move my stuff out of the way, although I don't think he minds...), and am now working on a little film. It's a Russian folkstory about a frogprincess. I worked for two days on four little dolls, and they are adorable! Especially the King, I made him a dress, of which I am very proud. I also took plenty of pictures, but we don't actually have The Internets yet, so it might be a while until I can upload them succesfully. I also made the castle (I love LEGO!), and will begin working on the three princesses. And the three witches, which I had forgotten until I reread the story a little while ago. It all looks a little dodgy, but it's a lot of fun to do, really.
So that's how I'm keeping busy (that, and unpacking boxes).

Talking About The Mortgage Makes My Head Spin

Smile!

This is what Celebes Crested Macaques actually look like. Now imagine it crashing against the glass that is between you and the monkey...

I Love The Zoo!
